malby is the ship name i made for my original characters, darby and dr. mallory alden.darby is an alien who was recovered from a meteorite landing and sent to eden university for study and mallory is the head of the paranormal scientific research department who works with her one-on-one.this is a shrine i made for them because carrd pro lets you make ten websites and i am insane.

dr. mallory alden is a parapsychologist and the head of the paranormal scientific research department at eden university. upon receiving his doctorate he continued working for the school to help develop and formally establish the department before being invited to teach.he is polite and well-liked by students due to his forgiving teaching style but thought to be aloof and arrogant. he is fairly introverted and prioritizes his work at the cost of his social life, though he is uninterested in relationships outside of casual dating and sex.he is not fond of kids but took to caring for darby naturally and goes to great lengths to ensure her happiness and comfort as she navigates human society.

darby is an extraterrestrial humanoid who emerged from the wreckage of a meteorite that landed outside of eden. she was detained and sent to eden university's paranormal scientific research department where she is referred to affectionately as an alien.she is comprised of an otherworldly substance similar to sugar and is identical to a human aside from her coloration, the presence of horns and her blood, which is an amber color and has a syrup-like consistency.she is illiterate and her language skills are underdeveloped as though delayed. she has no memory prior to the crash but occasionally refers to foreign concepts and entities.upon arriving at eden university she became particularly attached to dr. mallory alden, who works directly with her and functions as her caregiver and primary social outlet. she uses the name "daphne" in other social settings.
